Saint Basil Academy offers academic subjects that are college preparatory. These courses are fundamental to a liberal education, which prepares the students for the demands of today's colleges and universities. In keeping with its philosophy of educating the "whole person," the academy offers courses designed to fit the needs and interests of each student. Additionally, all students are required to have exposure to the Fine Arts in our curriculum, including music and art.

The core curriculum consists of religious studies, English, mathematics, modern/classical languages, science, social studies, and physical education. In addition, students are required to take courses in art, computer applications, health, and music. All students graduate with four years of English (composition and literature) and religious studies, with electives in the arts, mathematics, modern/classical languages, sciences, and social studies. Advanced placement courses are offered in English literature, English language and composition, calculus, modern languages, U.S. history, U.S. government and politics, and biology.

Through curriculum, Christian service, and activities, students work toward global awareness, environmental literacy, and the use of God-given talents in bettering the lives of others and the world around us. It is the goal of our curriculum to meet the needs of all students enrolled at Saint Basil Academy. Students are encouraged to select challenging courses consistent with their abilities and to meet college preparatory expectations of colleges and universities.
