Auditions for the fall show will take place September 23 and September 25 from 3 to 5 in the auditorium.
The fall shows will be Drama Director Dilemma and It's Murder in the Wings. The spring musical this
year will be "The Wiz". I look forward to meeting the freshman parents at the Social on the 21st.

DRAMA CLUB

PURPOSE:
The purpose of Drama Club is to educate the whole student in all aspects of theater. This is done by having the girls be involved in the different areas of staging such as lighting, sound, stage crew, set construction, etc. as well as acting. The shows are run by a student crew with the help of a few parents.
We perform 2 shows a year - one in the fall and one in the spring. This year's shows are “Stage Door” and in the spring the musical “High School Musical”. We celebrate the shows at their conclusion by having two Drama Club parties - one at Christmas and one at the end of school to award the students for a job well done.
Every aspect of Drama Club is given points. Whether the girls work on stage crew or acting they receive the same amount of points for each show. A total of 50 points will allow the student to receive her Drama Club pin.
