Athletics
Saint Basil Academy athletics are dedicated to educating student athletes in developing individual skills, teamwork, good sportsmanship, and fair play. As representatives of SBA, coaches, athletes, and parents demonstrate proper respect for each other, opponents, officials, and spectators; abide by the philosophy and guidelines of SBA; and promote the SBA mission in actions and words, both on and off the playing fields.

SBA VARSITY BASKETBALL TEAM
On Wednesday, January 23 2013, the Markward Basketball Club of Philadelphia honored our SBA seniors, Maddie Napierkowski, Alison McGowan and Emily Donahue. This is a prestigious honor for the girls and our school. The event included a dinner and awards presentation and was held at Cannstatters in Philadelphia. Our Athletic Director, Hugh McGovern, and our Basketball Coach, Terry Mancini, were there to cheer the girls on. Congratulations girls!!
