What is financial aid?
Financial aid funds are grants that help to reduce the cost of tuition for families that qualify through the need-based program.
How is financial aid determined?
Saint Basil Academy uses the services of the School and Student Service (SSS) company for financial aid to determine need. Saint Basil Academy's Financial Aid Committee uses this estimated need as a guideline in making awards.
How do I apply?
Anyone can apply for financial aid, but only students that have been accepted to Saint Basil Academy and demonstrate financial need can be considered.
- Families applying for need-based financial aid must complete financial aid forms and submit supporting documents.
- Check our website www.stbasilacademy.org for additional information on requirements, documentation, and deadlines.
Who receives financial aid?
Only families that qualify are eligible to receive need-based financial aid. Not everyone that applies and qualifies receives aid. Merit Scholarship recipients that qualify will receive need-based aid in addition to their merit award.
Is financial aid renewable each year?
You must complete a financial aid form each year. Changes in your financial status may affect the size of your award.
How much financial aid can I expect to receive?
Every family should expect to contribute something toward their daughter's education. Our goal is to meet verified need for those that receive financial aid.
All financial information disclosed by families is confidential. Saint Basil Academy fully supports all anti-discrimination laws and does not engage in any unlawful discrimination.
