Katie Breen

In 2015, Katie served as Producer, Director, and Editor of the documentary, American Dream.
American Dream took a young man with loads of promise, though who seemed to have lost a bit of hunger, and gave him an opportunity to test his credence and challenge his perspective. Taken to a random city and given $25 cash, he had 30 days to live his version of the American Dream.
The documentary was recently accepted to the American Documentary Film Festival in Palm Springs, CA.

Elizabeth Folger

As a director of the Archdiocesan Girls and Boys Choir of Philadelphia, Liz led the choir in several events during the World Meeting of Families and Papal Visit.  These events included the Thursday morning Mass for the Laity, on the steps of the Cathedral Basilica as Pope Francis arrived, and in the Sunday Mass on the Parkway. The attached picture is of Liz with the choir, Co-Director, Michael Zubert, and Father. G. Dennis Gill, Rector of the Cathedral Basilica.

Shannon McMullen Sullivan

After graduating from SBA, Shannon attended Arcadia University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Theater Minor. She is in her 8th year of teaching at Upper Moreland Primary School where she taught six years of Kindergarten and then made the move to 2nd grade. She will graduate from Arcadia this spring with a Masters in Educational Leadership with a Principal certification. She has been married for three years to her best friend and handsome husband, Dan, and they have an amazing, funny, and smart son named Noah who will turn 2 in January. They have two cats, a wonderful home, and lots of fun together as a family! In her spare time, she continues to sing at church and other local events, but remembers fondly her singing and theater experiences at SBA!

Bridget Konczyk

Class of 2004

Bridget is the Special Education Liaison for an Alternative Education Elementary School in the School District of Philadelphia and just started her 8th year as a teacher. She recently bought her first home in the Old City section of Philadelphia.

Mary Kay McGettigan

Class of 1997

After graduating from Saint Basil Academy in 1997, Mary Kay attended La Salle University, graduating in 2001 with a B.A. in Communication.

She began her professional career at La Salle in the Department for University Events in 2003, moved into Alumni Relations in 2007 as the Assistant Director for Clubs and Chapters and was named the Associate Director for Regional Programs in 2013 (her current position). She received her Masters in Education from La Salle in 2013.

In 2013, Mary Kay co-founded a non-profit foundation with her brother Don and his wife Mary, called Cara’s Sweethearts (www.carasweethearts.org). Named in honor of their daughter Cara (now an energetic 4 year old), who was born at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Their goal is to help make life a little bit easier for children and families going through the most difficult of times, even while in the best hands at Philadelphia’s local children’s hospitals and the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House. Mary Kay currently serves as the Director of Fundraising and Signature Events..  It has been the most rewarding work of her life.

Mary Kay resides in Fox Chase, just down the road from SBA and still keeps in touch with many of her girlfriends from the classes of 1996, 1997, and 1998.

Christine Bateman Devlin

Class of 1997

After Graduating from LaSalle University in 2001 with a degree in Communications, Christine began working for Enterprise Holdings where she has been for the past 14 years, and is currently an Account Specialist in Moorestown, NJ. Christine is a huge animal lover, and is currently working with an animal advocacy group in her home town of Mount Laurel.  Christine lives in South Jersey with her husband, Brian and their two children, Brianna and Christopher.

Miriam Enriquez McDivitt

Class of 1997

Since graduating from SBA,  Miriam attended George Mason University and graduated with a BA in History and Spanish and a minor in Latin American Studies. She then attended the Dickinson School of Law on a full tuition scholarship. While in law school, Miriam interned at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office and was hired as an Assistant District Attorney upon graduating. She worked there for seven years and left 2 1/2 years ago for her current position as the Director of Legislation and Policy for Philadelphia City Councilman Dennis O’Brien.
Miriam married her husband, Rob in 2008 and they have three daughters- Mila (4), Ana(3) and Ela (7 months).
