Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus

This AP course strictly adheres to the curricular guidelines for the College Board approved Advanced Placement Calculus AB course and culminates in the AP Calculus exam. The major topics covered include limits and continuity, derivatives, techniques and application of differentiation, indefinite and definite integrals, and techniques and application of integration. Application to real-world problems is addressed at every opportunity to deepen student appreciation and understanding of the remarkable human achievement called Calculus.

Prerequisite: Students must have completed Honors Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry with a final grade of B or higher.
