Broadcast Journalism is a class that explores broadcast media, teaches an appreciation for digital media production, and provides students with a wide range of video production skills as the class produces features for a regularly scheduled news magazine-style video program (Panther Tales) for the school. Students engage in pre-production story creation, scheduling, and scripting, production planning and field recording, and post-production editing to deliver unique video packages. In addition, students have the opportunity to create school-related video projects as agreed upon with the instructor.
