Sacraments as Privileged Encounters with Jesus Christ (First Semester)

This course helps students to understand that they can encounter Christ today in a full and real way in and through the Church and its sacraments, especially through the Eucharist. The students will examine each of the sacraments for its traditional definition, rites, graces and scriptural origins. This course offers the students an opportunity to further their relationship with Christ in a very real way through the sacraments.

Life in Jesus (Second Semester)

This course helps students to understand that they can fully live out God’s plan for their lives. The course includes the moral teachings of Jesus, beatitudes, commandments, concepts of sin and forgiveness, love of God and neighbor, and the social justice teachings of the Church. The students are to learn the moral concepts and precepts that govern the lives of Christ’s disciples.
