ACLU Summer Advocacy Program
The ACLU Summer Advocacy Program will bring together a diverse group of high school students (ages 15-18) from across the United States to participate in a week-long, firsthand learning experience for the next generation of social justice advocates. Through an intensive program in Washington, D.C., students will learn directly from lawyers, lobbyists, community activists, and ACLU experts. The Close Up Foundation – a DC-based civic education nonprofit — will serve as a partner with the ACLU to provide substantive experiential learning and small group discussion opportunities.
Runs July 20-26, 2019.  Graduating High School Seniors can apply.  Financial Aid is available.  Apply by April 17, 2019

Students in Adelphi’s Pre-College Program will engage in hands-on, high impact learning under the guidance of our professors and industry experts, and participate in social programming, college readiness workshops and excursions to nearby New York City.

Camp Cardiac & Camp Neuro

A fun look at applied mathematics to inspire students to study STEM fields.  Students will get to experience campus life by living for one week at The Catholic University of America in our nation’s Capitol!

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

The Division of Child Neurology at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia will run its annual Neurology High School Scholars Program.  This program offers the opportunity for three high school students to complete a 5 week paid internship ($1,000 stipend).  The internship involves working closely with a Neurologist on a basic science or clinical research project, and shadowing physicians in clinic.

Applicants must complete entire application process, which includes an essay and 2 letters of recommendation.

Columbia University

Intensive programs for academically exceptional students.

The summer program offers acclaimed precollege programs for motivated high school students. Experience the excitement of college life at an Ivy League university.

DeSales University

The Summer Video Institute offers professional filmmaking skills to students.  Each student will complete two films and learn to shoot using green screen technology.

Drexel University

Drexel University’s Food Camp is part of their Summer Institutes program.  Rising high school juniors and seniors are invited to join a three-day Food Camp this summer.

Drexel’s summer academic programs are summer camps open to highly motivated high school students who wish to explore what a university-level program is all about. Workshops are led by Drexel faculty and utilize Drexel’s labs, facilities, and the city of Philadelphia’s many resources.

Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising

Experience fashion through the eyes of a college student at the FIDM summer program.  Participate in hands-on workshops as you express your style.

Fox Chase Cancer Center

Students have the opportunity to apply for summer science research through Fox Chase Cancer Center. It is a great opportunity for students to do guided, independent research projects with scientists.

Fox Chase Cancer Center – Immersion Science Program

Immersion Science Program will hold several five-day camps this summer providing hands-on introduction to lab investigation.  The camps are designed for students to learn about cancer research and other STEM-related fields.

Georgetown University

GW Pre-College offers credit and non-credit programs for motivated high school students to study in Washington, D.C.  They offer a transformative introduction to college life.

Iacocca Global Entrepreneurship Intensive

The Iacocca Global Entrepreneurship Intensive brings American high school sophomores and juniors (ages 16-17) together with international high school students from all regions of the world for four weeks to live and learn together at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Ithaca College

Ithaca’s residential pre-college programs allow students to discover what campus life is like while exploring interests with expert Ithaca faculty.

Jefferson University

Jefferson College of Health Professions at Thomas Jefferson University is now accepting applications.  This summer program is for junior and seniors in high school who have a strong interest in biomedical sciences.

Jefferson University – Fashion Merchandising and Management Summer Workshop
Join us on July 18, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, for a free, one day workshop to learn about careers in the field of Fashion Merchandising and Management. The workshop will include an overview of the Fashion Merchandising and Management field and Jefferson’s program, a walking tour of campus, a career panel, as well as a field trip to visit retailers in charming Manayunk. Parents are welcome to attend the on campus programming and lunch will be provided.


Jacobs University

An International Summer Camp that brings young people from all over the world together.  Topics include issues like safeguarding the environment to democracy.

Johns Hopkins

The application period for Discover Hopkins, Mini-Terms, Summer University and Education USA programs is now open.  These summer programs offer pre-college courses taught by leading experts.

La Salle University
Summer Scholars Program is for high school juniors and seniors who would like a preview of the college experience.  Accepted students will be able to earn college credit, explore career paths, develop college readiness skills all on LaSalle’s beautiful campus.

Lebanon Valley College

If any student is interested in math / finance may consider an Actuarial Science career.  Lebanon Valley offers a one-week summer program for rising high school seniors who want to learn more about the profession.

Marist College

Students can earn college credit and get a taste of campus life while still in high school.  Students will learn from talented faculty , while studying in the heart of historic Hudson River Valley.

New York University
