The Saint Basil Academy team is currently 9-0 and ranked 7th in the state of Pennsylvania.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR !!

This Tuesday, January 8th, 2019 is our annual Grade School night.  The opponent that night will be league rival Gwynedd Mercy Academy who we have faced int he last two AACA playoffs.  The JV game is set to tip-off at 3:45 followed by the Varsity games scheduled for 5:15.  All grade school girls who register upon entrance to the gym, will be eligible to win door prizes that will be awarded at halftime of the Varsity game.  After the game all grade school girls are invited to join SBA players, coaches and administrators in the cafeteria after the games for pizza and snacks.  Take time next week to catch the game and speak with players and coaches from the basketball program afterwards.

On Saturday, December 22nd, the team picked up a league win against Merion Mercy Academy.  Earlier that same day, the team gathered in our gym to prepare a food basket for a deserving family in our area.  The team left our campus early that day to hand deliver the goods to the family who was very appreciative of the girls thoughtfulness.

Over the Christmas holiday, the team traveled to North Carolina to participate in the 11th annual Holiday Hoopla Tournament.  The trip was a success on and off the court as we captured the Hoopla title by defeating Williams High School from nearby Burlington, NC.  Senior captain, Casey Remolde captured the tournament MVP, while Denae Carter and Lizzie Dela were recognized as all tournament.  Off the court, the team took time to visit the campus of North Carolina and attended a women’s game at the Carmichael Center as the Lady Tar Heels took on Howard University.  The team grew closer over the five day trip and shared each meal in a team setting.
